Poem of the Month

No Chance to Dance in the Sun

A few are blessed beyond belief,

attending the big dance, obtaining no grief.

But most, they dream with hope of good deed

and faith as small as a mustard seed.

Oh to have the chance to dance in the sun.

But if it is not God's will, what can be done?

Ever positive, I think I can, I think I can.

But always attending as a wallflower fan.

Oh, to have that Cinderella run,

to let the world and tournament be stunned!

But sorrow comes harder to man with no chance more,

a senior or old age coach who has seen their final dance score.

Their hopes, they have ended their run,

there will be no time to dance in the sun.
