Poem of the Month

I sit within the crowd

Watching you and never feeling more proud.

You have been down there many times before

But now the clock does not keep score.

I am not yelling or calling a play

For this is a different type of day.

Memories of past flood my soul

But this time there is no attmept at a goal.

For Four years I put you through _ _ _ _

But the good times make the emotions swell.

You gave me your all; you gave me your best

You past all my physical and mental test.

No more will you endure my rage

For now you are walking accross the stage.

The speaker has called your name

But this time we are not in a game.

This ceremony signifies we must depart

But you will always remain in my heart.

I pray in life skills I did give you an education

I will miss you, happy graduation.
