July 10, 1957

Superintendents reorganize Frisco League and establish the Frisco League Tournament.

Dec.3 1957

Waynesville defeats Dixon 73 to 31 in the first Frisco League Tournament game.

Dec. 19, 1959

Bill Cooley seemingly could not miss a shot to pacing the Stoutland Tigers' scoring attack with 34 points in a 65-44 boys championship victory over Dixon at Crocker.

Dec. 1 1967

Dale Stanley scored 37 points in a 66 to 50 Licking win over Iberia in Frisco League Tournament semi-final action.  This established a new game high in individual boys' scoring in the tournament.

Dec. 2, 1968

The Dixon Bulldogs scored 5 and a half points per minute in downing Stoutland 172 to 36 in opening round action of the Frisco Tourney.  That team scoring record in the tournament is unlikely ever to be smashed.  The Bulldogs went on to win the state championship that season in Class M competition.

Dec. 3, 1968

The next night, Randy Williams of Iberia broke Dale Stanley's Frisco League Tournament boys' scoring record by firing 41 points through the hoops in action agaist Richland.

Dec. 5, 1968

In what must have been the scoringest Frisco Torunament on record, Harvey Bechtel of Stoutland just two nights later broke Williams record by hitting for 43 points in a consolation game against Licking.  This may be the tournament's individual boys' scoring record. 

Dec. 5, 1977

The first girls' Frisco League Tournament games were played in Dixon.

Dec. 3, 1983

Licking became the first school to win the boys' Frisco League Tournament Championship three years in a row.

Dec. 1, 1990

Licking broke its own record by winning the boys' Frisco League Tournament Championship four years in a row.

Dec. 7, 1991

The Licking Wildcats extended their Frisco Tourney Championship string to five years in a row.

1998

Newburg Lady Wolves become the first girls team to win the Frisco League Tournament Championship five years in a row.

Dec 4, 2004

The first Boys' Championship game double overtime was won by Plato over Dixon 67-64.

2005

The 8 and 9 Boys' team (Plato and Richland) play twice in the same tournament.  The first game was a play in game and the second for the Consolation Championship. (Plato won both games) 

2006

Inclement Weather delays the Tournament and the finals are played one week later than scheduled.
